Winner of a Finalist Award in the 2021 Songwriters' Association of Washington's Middle Atlantic Song Contest, Needles Highway was written as an octave mandolin/mandolin duet. Inspired by one of the most beautiful roads anywhere, it will always serve as a warm reminder to me of motorcycle trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota and days on the road with my brother, son and close friends. Don Walters - octave mandolin, mandolin, guitar and production.
